I provide one-on-one therapeutic intervention for children, adolescents and college students struggling with ADHD and executive dysfunction. Many aspects of executive functioning are effected by ADHD, including initiating a task (“getting started”), goal-setting, task-oriented behavior, staying focused, planning, organizing, staying motivated, and shifting from one task to another. There is also an emotional component to ADHD that is oftentimes overlooked. I work with students to support new skills and habits, offering strategies that are effective, and easy to implement.
